I had two shows in October on the same day – October 10! Both were great fun: Bloomfield Saturday Market in the morning, and Bantha Tea Bar that evening. I’ll actually be back at Bantha in December, but that’s for another newsletter…
Novermber is such a transitional month. The banner above for this email shows houses on our street at the beginning (Halloween!) and end (Thanksgiving leading in to the winter holidays!) of November…
This November also marks a transition in the political landscape in this country; if you’d like to hear what I was thinking about before the election, you can listen on Soundcloud!
November
I’m playing at the beginning and end of November too, both outdoors shows (Brrrr!!!!)…
- Saturday Nov 7 (Brrr!), 10:00am-Noon, Bloomfield Saturday Market, Bloomfield. I’m sure this will be the last time I play at the market before Spring!
- Saturday Nov 28 (Brrrrr!),1pm-2pm, 3 Rivers Outdoor Company, Regent Square, in the afternoon before Regent Square’s Light-Up Night! Hey, I’m bringing my fingerless gloves to this one…
I’m involved in a couple of other fun things in November too!
On Saturday November 14, I’ll be running sound for the 2026 Pittsburgh Crankie Fest at First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh! It’s Appalachian folk music on traditional instruments supporting folk stories told on illuminated paper and cloth rolls. Super fun! Show starts at 7pm.
Then on Saturday November 21, I’ll help to
host SongSpace‘s November show with Kelsey Jumper and Colter Harper, featuring popular and political music of Brazil. Starts at 7:30pm, also at First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh.
As always, check brianjunkermusic.com for late breaking news and updates.
See you out in the world!
